DRAFT RESISTER REUNION
The Boys Who Said NO! film had its inspiration at a reunion of 70 Bay Area Vietnam war resisters and nonviolent activists in San Francisco and Mill Valley in July, 2013, organized by our film's founding producer, Christopher Jones. The reunion provided a unique opportunity to interview these activists, many of whom went to prison for their personal resistance to the war.
We felt a responsibility to document their stories so that audiences, including future generations, might take inspiration from hearing what they did, why they risked going to prison, and what impact it had.
